Why Invest in The Ohio Flyover?

1. Grow the Ohio newsroom and impact.
Your investment helps us expand the Ohio team, deepen our coverage, and reach more readers across the state.

2. Keep it reader-owned.
We believe Ohioans—not corporations—should shape the news they rely on.

3. Low minimum, big impact.
We’ve lowered the minimum to $500, making it easier for more Ohioans to become co-owners of the journalism they trust.

4. Protect honest reporting.
Your support keeps us independent, fact-first, and focused on fair, balanced coverage for Ohio communities.

A Quick Note

When we launched The Ohio Flyover, we hoped the state would embrace a trustworthy, unbiased source of news. We didn’t expect so many of you to stand with us. But today, over 59,000 Ohioans get their daily news from The Ohio Flyover.

Your investment in The Ohio Flyover will send a clear message: honest journalism still matters here.

We’re 200 investors away from 2,000 reader-owners, and Ohio’s shares are just 10 reader-investors. Stepping up now could put us over the top.

Gov. Mike DeWine said the 150 National Guard troops deployed to Washington, D.C., will have their deployment extended to Feb. 28, 2026.

Ohio troops were sent to the nation’s capital in August after President Trump began using federal law enforcement to reduce crime in Washington.

DeWine previously agreed to extend the National Guard deployment through Nov. 30. He said the state has been rotating Guard members and will continue to do so, saying: “People have lives and they have families and they have jobs.”

DeWine added that none of the deployed Guard members work in law enforcement, so as not to affect local police and sheriffs’ offices.

One other Ohio house was nominated: Stan Hywet Hall in Akron, which was built by F.A. Seiberling, the co-founder of Goodyear Tire & Rubber. It’s the nation’s sixth-largest historic home open to the public.
