Scott Dixon was victorious at the 2025 Honda Indy 200 on Sunday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, edging out Alex Palou in the season’s closest IndyCar finish.

Palou, the current championship leader, led with five laps remaining before going wide at Turn 9, allowing Dixon to overtake and secure the win.

It was Dixon’s 59th career victory and first of the 2025 season. He has won at least one race in 21 consecutive seasons.

Christian Lundgaard, Colton Herta, and Pato O’Ward rounded out the top five. You can see the full race results here.

Cincinnati Burger Week returns today, featuring burger deals at more than 100 restaurants across the city. The event runs through Sunday.

Participating restaurants include Taste of Belgium, Ludlow Garage, Cowboy Sally’s, and many others. Each location will offer a special Burger Week meal priced between $7 and $8.

Now in its 11th year, Burger Week offers a mobile app for iOS and Android that shows participating restaurants. More information is available here.

Ohio’s bald eagle population is on the rise, according to a survey by the state Department of Natural Resources.

A 2025 census counted 964 active nests statewide, up 36% from a 2020 census. Nests have been found in 87 of Ohio’s 88 counties.

Ottawa County leads with 112 nests, followed by Sandusky with 61, Erie with 40, Seneca with 36, and Wyandot with 31. A map showing the county-by-county breakdown is available here.

In 1979, Ohio reported just four nesting pairs of bald eagles. The species was removed from the state’s threatened and endangered list in 2012.
