DHS Agents Visit Dayton High School

U.S. Department of Homeland Security agents visited Ponitz Career Technology High School in Dayton on Monday to investigate voter fraud allegations.

Three agents reviewed a former student’s claim that the student was “told or forced” to fill out a voter registration form and was told whom to vote for.

The allegations center on the school’s voter registration drive for 18-year-old students, which Dayton Public Schools has run for the past 15 years.

Dayton Public Schools Superintendent David Lawrence said the district runs the program at seven high schools and that no schools besides Ponitz were investigated.

Buckeyes Shine on Day 1 at Olympics

All five current or former Ohio State women’s hockey players who debuted Thursday at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics recorded at least one point.

Current Buckeye Joy Dunne scored her first Olympic goal for the United States in the Americans’ 5-1 win over Czechia, and Hannah Bilka added an assist.

For Sweden, current Buckeye Mira Jungåker scored her first Olympic goal in a 4-1 win over Germany. Jenna Raunio assisted on two goals, and Hilda Svensson added another.

In all, 12 current or former Ohio State women’s hockey players will compete in the Winter Olympics.
