Bayer plans to build a $2.2 billion pharmaceutical manufacturing campus in New Albany, creating about 600 permanent jobs and roughly 1,500 construction jobs in central Ohio.

Gov. Mike DeWine called the project Ohio’s largest international healthcare project and the largest German investment in state history.

The plant will make medicines for cancer, heart conditions, and kidney disease.

The plant’s first production module is slated to come online in 2031, with a second in 2034. Hiring for technical roles could start as early as next year.

Article Icon 1Trump Rallies Crowd for Husted

President Trump rallied supporters Saturday in Vandalia, urging Ohioans to back Sen. Jon Husted, R-Ohio, and Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy in two tight races a month before Election Day.

Trump told the cheering crowd to “pretend I’m on the ballot,” pointing to stronger Republican turnout when he runs. Husted said voters aren’t being asked to “winter at Valley Forge” or “storm the beaches of Normandy,” but simply to “get out and vote.”

Trump also defended data centers, a hot-button issue in the midterms, saying “there’s so much money to be made for Ohio” and warning that otherwise, “they’ll go to China.”

Sandusky native Jon Gruden, the Super Bowl-winning former NFL coach and Husted’s college teammate at the University of Dayton, made a surprise appearance and urged the crowd to vote early beginning Tuesday.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are Ohio’s favorite Halloween candy, according to DoorDash ordering data—a fitting pick for the home of the chocolate-and-peanut butter buckeye.

Ohio is one of 17 states that favor Reese’s above all others, and the cups topped the national list for a third straight year.

Old-school candy is also making a comeback, led by Circus Peanuts, with orders up 350%. Candy corn orders rose 30%, and raisins jumped 60%. You can view the complete study here.

Doctor unveils dark bone broth secret (avoid now)

If you think bone broth is a great way to get collagen, think again.

According to a former surgeon, animal bones are known for absorbing heavy metals.

This can potentially lead to brain fog, fatigue, or even muscle weakness.

That’s why he recommends a “collagen reset technique” instead.

To his knowledge, it’s the only technique that can help your body build its own collagen.

Anyone can do it without drinking broths.

California Surgeon: “Muscle Loss in Seniors is Real, But It Doesn’t Have to Be”

If you think collagen is only for supporting healthier skin, hair, and nails, think again.

Not only does it play a role in holding the teeth in your mouth, keeping your heart walls intact, and reinforcing your gut lining…

It’s also what allows you to enjoy your favorite outdoor activities without getting tired.

But unfortunately, eating more collagen isn’t the answer.

That’s why Dr. Steven Gundry has created what he calls the “collagen reset technique.”

And to his knowledge, it’s the only technique that’s designed to help your body build its own collagen.
