Lordstown was one of five cities selected as sites for new OpenAI data centers to expand Stargate, the company’s new artificial intelligence infrastructure platform.

In Lordstown, OpenAI will operate at a SoftBank-owned complex previously owned by Foxconn. SoftBank has broken ground at the site and said operations are expected to begin next year.

The selections follow OpenAI and Oracle’s announcement in July that they would partner to develop up to 4.5 gigawatts of Stargate capacity, a multisite venture valued at more than $300 billion over five years.

The other sites chosen are in Milam County, Texas; Shackelford County, Texas; Doña Ana County, New Mexico; and a yet-to-be-named location in the Midwest.

Article Icon 1Omnicare Files for Bankruptcy

Omnicare, a Cincinnati-based subsidiary of CVS Health, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy two months after a federal court ordered the company to pay $949 million for submitting fraudulent prescription drug claims.

Omnicare officials said the company will use the bankruptcy process to evaluate restructuring options and address challenges tied to the $949 million judgment, which the company’s president called “an extreme and, we believe, unconstitutional penalty.”

In its bankruptcy petition, Omnicare listed up to $500 million in assets and between $1 billion and $10 billion in debts. The company provides pharmacy services to long-term care and post-acute facilities.

The company said it expects to continue serving customers and does not anticipate employee wages being affected.

It might sound unbelievable, but thousands of people are now discovering a breakthrough method that targets fungus at its source. And the best part? It doesn’t require expensive creams, endless doctor visits, or harsh medications.

Instead, it involves a quick, at-home routine so simple you’ll wonder why no one told you sooner. All you need to do is soak a pair of socks in a special purple liquid, slip them on your feet for just one minute, and let the formula go to work.
