Question: What type of building is Ohio’s official state historical structure?

Answer: The barn. Ohio designated the barn as its state historical architectural structure in 2019, a nod to the state’s agricultural roots. During Ohio’s bicentennial in 2003, one barn in each of the state’s 88 counties was painted with a commemorative logo. You can see photos of the barns here.
