It’s Independence Day, and celebrations are planned all around the Buckeye State tonight, including Cedar Point’s Light Up The Point event.

Put-in-Bay and the Maumee Riverfront headline northwest Ohio’s fireworks shows, with additional displays listed here.

The Cleveland Guardians will launch fireworks after their 7:10 p.m. game against Detroit, and shows will take place throughout northeast Ohio. In southwest Ohio, Kings Island and other venues are hosting Independence Day celebrations.

Columbus held its main fireworks show Thursday, but towns such as Dublin, Grove City, and New Albany will celebrate with displays tonight. Find more central Ohio events here.
