Other projects include a new ground transportation center and train station, additional parking lot spaces, and the replacement of the airport’s wildlife fence.

State Attorney General Dave Yost certified language for a possible statewide ballot question on whether to repeal Senate Bill 1’s college reforms.

To place the referendum on the November ballot, supporters must collect more than 248,000 valid signatures from at least 44 of Ohio’s 88 counties by early July.

SB1, signed by Gov. Mike DeWine in March, eliminates diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs at public universities and restricts classroom content, faculty strikes, and tenure.

Some schools, including Ohio University and the University of Toledo, have begun implementing changes ahead of the law’s June 27 start date.
